David joined the Water Industry Alliance in August 2015 as the Cluster Facilitator for the WIA Smart Specialisation Clusters WaRDA and MAR Hub. David was appointed interim CEO in May 2016 following the resignation of former CEO Andy Roberts.
As the Cluster Facilitator responsible for the WIA's smart specialisation clusters, he brings with him a wealth of experience in the water industry, having worked for the past several years with a South Australian manufacturer in the water industry.
David has an educational background in engineering and business, to name a few, as well as a broad depth of experience in sales and marketing. In his previous role David travelled extensively within Australia and overseas to Asia and Europe.
As a South Australian passionate about growth and promotion of the state, and with experience and background in water, he works with our smart specialisation clusters to aid them in providing globally leading expertise to markets locally and across the globe.
