On Friday 6 July 2018, the Water Industry Alliance will be hosting it's annual Smart Water Awards at the Adelaide Convention Centre, awarding six recipients across categories including; Innovation, Alliancing, Business Growth, Environmental Improvement, Industry Leadership and the prestigous Minister's Award for Excellence.
The Smart Water Awards have been around for over 15 years and each year they recognise the leading contributors to the water industry, those shaping the future of the industry and leading the way in innovation.

Kirk Drage, Inaugural Entrepreneur in Residence at the City of Adelaide and CEO of LeapSheep
Kirk’s career has been driven by three keen interests; Deep Technology, Global Business Models and Human Psychology. Kirk spent 12 years with Microsoft, ultimately based in Singapore as Head of Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Relations for Asia Pacific managing a team responsible for a portfolio of 20 innovation centres and 8000 start-ups across the region. More recently, he has been developing Artificial Intelligence products and services at start-ups in Silicon Valley before returning home to Adelaide in 2015. Kirk is also an early state angel investor and has a passion for empowering people with the abilities to develop global companies, create jobs, distribute wealth and generate positive social impact.
Join us to hear from Kirk as he reflects upon his time as Entrepreneur In Residence where he will share the very different innovation challenges facing start-ups and established companies.
