Major water and wastewater projects require across-the-board legal solutions from advisers with industry expertise.
Industry participants, developers and the public sector turn to experts like South Australia’s Judith Bradsen for authoritative guidance on issues such as water reforms, water access rights, water quality, conservation concerns and the construction of new infrastructure.
Judith heads up the Environmental, Planning and Sustainability practice group at law firm Minter Ellison and convenes its firm wide Climate Change and Water Industry Group.
“We are committed to reviewing and improving regulatory issues associated with water access rights and water quality over and above our core litigation and advice work in the water law and water conveyancing area,” Judith says.
“South Australia has previously led the country with its water access regime and we hope to continue to utilise this State’s unique positioning in the water sector to show leadership in water policy reform. For example, we are very interested in continuing to contribute to the development of a third party access regime for water, and making the most of our track record in the electricity, gas and telco sectors.”
